Teaching Philosophy

My teaching art journey has been fulfilling and diverse, with experiences in school placements, peer teaching, special needs education, and community education. These experiences have challenged me and helped me develop as an educator. The Visual Aids in the Classrooms (VACs) within NCAD have been particularly inspiring and have given me a strong foundation in visual art principles and techniques, as well as effective communication strategies. Teaching art has allowed me to foster creativity and new ideas in others, and seeing my students grow and develop their own unique artistic voices is incredibly rewarding. Overall, my journey has been a rich and fulfilling experience that allows me to explore my passion for art while helping others do the same. I look forward to continuing to learn and grow as an educator.
