Hell Fire Club

Dublin Mountains

THE EXPERIENCE and REFLECT

As an educator, I believe that it is important for students to not only learn in the classroom but also to experience learning in the real world. That's why I organized a trip to the Hellfire Club, which is a historical landmark located on a hill in the Dublin mountains.

Once we arrived, we began by discussing the history of the Hellfire Club, which was originally built as a hunting lodge in the 18th century. The building has a fascinating history, including rumors of occult activity and alleged involvement with the infamous Irish politician, Simon Luttrell.

After our discussion, we spent some time sketching the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and countryside. The students were excited to explore and capture the natural beauty of the area, and I encouraged them to let their creativity flow.

Throughout the experience, I observed how being surrounded by nature helped my students feel relaxed and inspired. It was clear that they enjoyed the opportunity to explore and connect with the outdoors.

Overall, the trip to the Hellfire Club was a great success, and I look forward to organizing more experiences like this for my students in the future.
